Bluebirds will travel to the City Ground for Cup clash

NOTTINGHAM Forest have been drawn at home to Championsh­ip rivals Cardiff City in the FA Cup third round.

The Reds have already welcomed the Bluebirds to the City Ground this season, with Neil Harris’ side celebratin­g a 2-0 away win in September thanks to a brace from Kieffer Moore.

That was the first home game of the season for Forest, who endured a poor start to the campaign under head coach Sabri Lamouchi before the Frenchman eventually paid the price and was sacked in October.

Now Chris Hughton is at the helm for the Reds.

Other highlights in last night’s third round draw saw eighth-tier Marine given a home tie against Premier League leaders Tottenham Hotspur. Northern Premier League Division One side Marine became only the second team from the eighth tier to reach the third round after beating Havant & Waterloovi­lle after extra time on Sunday.

National League North side Chorley will play Derby County at home and Stockport County, of the National League, have also been handed home advantage in their tie against Premier League West Ham United.

Holders Arsenal face Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium and another all-premier League tie sees

Aston Villa face Liverpool at Villa Park.
