PLAYER RATINGS
The goalkeeper could have put a cigar on in the opening 45 minutes as he was not called into action once. Kicking was excellent. Starting positions very good too. 7/10
DION KELLY-EVANS:
Defended with tenacity, attacked with menace. Had plenty of joy down the right-hand side and showed excellent pace on numerous occasions. 8/10
CONNELL RAWLINSON:
Had a very solid game in the centre of defence alongside Ben Turner despite having to manage the threat of Paul Mccallum and Scott Wilson, which he did expertly. 8/10
BEN TURNER:
Relished the aerial battle with Mccallum and won some important headers for his side. Has been in the crosshairs following some of his performances since returning but was quality. 8/10
ADAM CHICKSEN:
Couldn’t quite match the pace and intensity in attack shown by KellyEvans and his distribution needs some work. Battled away. 7/10
JAKE REEVES:
Hustled, harried and snapped away in midfield with real hunger and desire. He was close to scoring the opener with a 20-yard shot that cracked the post. 9/10
MICHAEL DOYLE:
Always seems to read what’s going to happen before it does. Experience and leadership were top drawer. 8/10
ENZIO BOLDEWIJN:
When he’s full of confidence like this, he’s a joy to watch. Had twinkling toes that caused numerous problems for the Daggers’ defence and provided numerous crosses. Excellent. 8/10
RUBEN RODRIGUES:
Such a clever player. Drops into pockets of space and could dribble past defenders in a phonebox.
Amazing control and is getting better with every game. 8/10
ELISH SAM:
Combined his responsibility in attack with some important defensive interventions at set-pieces and was so close to a goal in the first half, denied by a good save by Elliott Justham. 8/10
For Notts to be a danger in attack, Wootton needs to show his qualities with his back to goal. Came short, went in behind, chased lost causes. Utterly selfless. Was brilliant. 8/10
