PLAYER RATINGS SUBSTITUTES

-

JORDAN SMITH:

Handled well and looked competent. Only negative was a couple of poor kicks. Rating: 7/10

CARL JENKINSON:

Enough to replace Cyrus Christie? Probably not, but Jenkinson did well defensively. Rating: 7/10

SCOTT MCKENNA:

No sign of any rustiness on his return from injury. Should keep his place now. Rating: 8/10

JOE WORRALL:

A first chance to see Worrall and Mckenna together and they look a strong partnership already. Rating: 8/10

GAETAN BONG:

No frills to his game at all but was highly effective, especially in the first half. Set up the goal well. Rating: 7.5/10

HARRY ARTER:

Battled well in midfield and riled his opponents. More of what you expect from the former Bournemouth man. Rating: 7/10

CAFU:

Not his best game. Overshadowed a little by Arter in a deeper role before pushing forwards. Rating: 6/10

JOE LOLLEY:

Bright first half but reduced to a more disciplined defensive role after the break. Rating: 6.5/10

MIGUEL ANGEL GUERRERO:

A big chance to impress but never really took it, aside from one good turn in the first half. Rating: 5/10

SAMMY AMEOBI:

Worked hard and looked to help Bong out defensively, but was not at his best going forwards again as he made a limited contribution. Rating: 5.5/10

LYLE TAYLOR:

Good finish for the goal and worked hard without getting many men around him. Rating: 7/10

ALEX MIGHTEN (FOR AMEOBI 58): Looked bright when he came on and was Forest’s biggest attacking threat in the second half. 7

RYAN YATES (FOR GUERRERO 66): Brought on when Forest were on under pressure and did his job well enough as he looked to disrupt. 6

SAMBA SOW (FOR ARTER 85): N/A

Subs not used: Samba, Mbe Soh, Dawson, Blackett, Swann, Christie.
