IT firm clinches new deal

NOTTINGHAM firm Retail Assist have signed up their latest customer, Hollywood Bowl Group.

Hollywood Bowl Group operate over 60 bowling alley centres across the UK, along with 3 Putt Stars mini-golf centres.

The IT services and solutions provider will offer support through their IT Help Desk to Hollywood Bowl Group’s centres.

Retail Assist’s IT Help Desk runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, making them the perfect hospitalit­y partner to cover the extended trading hours required by Hollywood Bowl Group.

Dave Wilson, IT Director at Hollywood Bowl Group, said: “We initially managed our IT support requiremen­ts internally but, thanks to our success, we needed to find an outsourcin­g partner so that our internal teams can focus on business growth instead.

“I have worked closely with Retail Assist in a previous role and what has always stood out for me out is the depth of specialist support and sector-specific partnershi­ps that they can bring to deliver a holistic solution.

“I know that I have the partnershi­ps that I can trust to keep us trading with minimal disruption, allowing us to focus on growing the business.”

Alongside helpdesk support, Retail Assist will also manage the relationsh­ip with Barron Mccann, who will provide hardware maintenanc­e support that delivers a nationwide four-hour response for high-priority issues, enabling the rapid repair or replacemen­t of faulty devices.

Barron Mccann also provides engineerin­g support to undertake on-site investigat­ions into the cause of faults that cannot be diagnosed by Hollywood Bowl Group colleagues on site or remotely.
