DRESSED TO IMPRESS

THE CELEBRITIES WINNING STYLE POINTS THIS WEEK

-

AFTER a run of awards shows that saw the winners receive their trophies sitting on the sofa at home, it was a joy to see an actual red carpet for the Grammys at the weekend. It was a socially distanced, outdoors affair but the attendees dialled the glamour right up.

The music industry’s big night belonged to Beyoncé. Picking up a record-breaking 28th Grammy, the 39-year-old became the most-awarded woman in the awards’ history and looked stunning in a Schiaparelli black leather mini dress and matching gloves.

Billie Eilish, 19, honoured for her single Everything I Wanted, took her Grammy total to date to six and stayed true to her signature style of Gucci two-piece with matching hat, mask and even nails.

Taylor Swift was another woman making Grammy history. The 31-year-old won album of the year for Folklore and became the first female artist ever to win album of the year three times. Her embroidered floral mini dress was by Oscar de la Renta and wouldn’t leave you much change out of £10,000.

Rounding out our fashion favourites is Brit, Dua Lipa, 25, who won best vocal album for Future Nostalgia. She sparkled in a barely there Versace gown, inspired by the Northern Lights.

Very fitting for a pop superstar.

Meanwhile at the hen do, things aren’t going much better. Rhona reels when she realises that everyone has known about her and Marlon’s supposedly secret relationship. And elsewhere, Charity puts a brave face on as she finalises the sale of her share of the pub to Marlon.
