PLAYER RATINGS

-

JORDAN SMITH: CYRUS CHRISTIE:

A really tough night for the fullback, who only really got the chance to venture into the attack in the second half. 4/10

TOBIAS FIGUEIREDO:

The visitors were just too quick and too slick in the final third and the defender tried to put up the best fight he could. 4/10

SCOTT MCKENNA:

Pukki’s pace caused him a real problem on occasions and there were times when it was two v two as Norwich cut through the lines. But he was the best centre-back on show. 5/10

TYLER BLACKETT:

Went to ground too early for Pukki’s goal when he really should have stayed on his feet. Had his hands full on his side of the pitch with Dowell, who is a quality operator. 3/10

JAMES GARNER:

The teenager was game but unfortunately Norwich’s midfield was so accurate and so sharp that he struggled early on. Better after the break. 5/10

RYAN YATES:

Should have pulled a goal back with a header when he was unmarked from a corner but Norwich’s movement inbetween the lines caused real problems. 4/10

SAMMY AMEOBI:

On the brief occasions he did have the ball, he was quickly smothered or his first touch wasn’t quite there. It wasn’t helped by the fact that Forest found it very difficult to create space in the final third. 4/10

LUKE FREEMAN:

Took the corner which led to Yates’ header but did not make a dent in Norwich’s defence from open play until he fired wide in the second half. 4/10

CAFU:

Was deployed as the number 10 but highlighted the real lack of options Chris Hughton has in that position. 4/10

LEWIS GRABBAN:

Took far too long to get his shot away with a good chance early after the break. Needed to be much sharper with what was the striker’s only chance in the whole game. 4/10
