Today begins a week of flash forwards that will ultimately reveal there has been tragedy for at least one villager.

A 999 call from Jimmy is heard as we flash forward to three different hospital beds. Each day will reveal a further glimpse of who the occupants of the beds might be.

Meanwhile, in the present, Aaron calls Paul and asks to meet him at the Dingles’ for a pre-wedding surprise. The ‘surprise’ turns out to be a kidnapped Connor (above).

Desperate to keep the truth from Nick, Simon lies that Leanne has got a new bloke, she’s moved on and he should back off. Nick is gutted, but will he believe Simon’s story?

Meanwhile, Todd confides in Eileen that he’s considering taking a job in Bromsgrove to distance himself from Billy.

Elsewhere, Toyah (below) and Imran find out whether social services has agreed to place Kelly with them.

And Aggie tries to keep the truth about Ronnie from Michael.

Gray continues his manipulation of Whitney (right) and it’s getting more and more creepy. He has a work gala and Whitney offers to be his plus one. Not only does he lend her one of Chantelle’s dresses to wear, but he gives her a bracelet that Whitney has no idea also belonged to Chantelle.

Meanwhile, Sharon complains about her new living situation as Callum suggests making a fresh start. And elsewhere, Vinny is feeling pleased with himself for nabbing the gold bars.
