PLAYER RATINGS

-

SAM SLOCOMBE:

Was beaten at his near post by Ben House’s strike which was the only shot he had to face in the opening 45 minutes. Made a super stop in the second half. 5/10

DION KELLY-EVANS:

Was Notts’ best player and looked to be the only one who realised what was at stake. 6/10

CONNELL RAWLINSON:

Had plenty of the ball as Notts passed it around the back at will and showed threat from a couple of set-pieces in the first half. 5/10

BEN TURNER:

Aerially dominant but picked up a booking as he was beaten in a one v one. 4/10

ALEX LACEY:

Caught the eye with a couple of passes and seemed to be untroubled in the aerial exchanges. 5/10

ADAM CHICKSEN:

Looked busy and had a couple of set-pieces which caused problems. Not really a marauding wing-back. 4/10

JAKE REEVES:

Sloppy in possession at times in midfield. The industry was there but in terms of trying to break down a stubborn Eastleigh defence, the creativity was badly lacking. 4/10

REGAN GRIFFITHS:

Struggled to really stamp his authority on the game but was continually angered by the passes he received in congested areas. But was robbed of the ball in some key areas. 4/10

LEWIS KNIGHT:

Had one moment where he showed his pace and struck at goal. 4/10

KYLE WOOTTON:

The forward had zero service and was faced with a very capable defender in Andrew Boyce. Found it difficult to find any space. 4/10

JIMMY KNOWLES:

His best moments came when he was heading towards his own goal in the first half as all the strikers came short. Was better in the second half. 4/10

SUBSTITUTES

ENZIO BOLDEWIJN (KNIGHT 56):

Took him quite a while to get into the game but produced a couple of penetrating runs. 4/10

JIM O’BRIEN (GRIFFITHS 72):

Midfielder looked bright when he came on. 4/10

CALVIN MILLER (TURNER 72):

Really struggled to make an impression. 4/10

SUBS NOT USED Ellis, Doyle.
