Can money man Eric help turn UK firms’ fortunes around?

-

THE MONEY MAKER

CHARISMATIC multi-million pound investor Eric Collins more than holds his own as he takes the reins of this engaging new business show.

It’s a bit like Dragons’ Den meets Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, with Eric heading into businesses to help revive them, but with a view to offering an investment proposal.

Imagine if the Dragons broke out of the studio and went on tour – and maybe rolled their sleeves up a bit...

American Eric is focused, forthright and opinionated.

His day job is expanding companies worldwide, but now he’s throwing a lifeline to British businesses that are

struggling post-pandemic, and risking his own cash to help them succeed.

He says: “I want to help, that’s what I’m here to do.

“Taking people who might otherwise not be employable and making them successful. It changes people’s lives.”

Each week the entrepreneur visits a different UK company, and offers a game-changing investment. But he will want a stake in the business and to call the shots over his transformation ideas.

It’s a hard pill to swallow for Jasen, boss of Manchester repair and restoration company Prymo.

Business is booming, they are always busy – so why are they hardly making any profit?

“Why do you think things are going so great?” asks Eric, cutting to the chase. “What are you busy doing?”

Eric has a business offer and is ready to write a cheque, but Jasen is not impressed.

Will he let Eric take over for three months to see how the company can grow?

Tensions – and emotions – run high.
