PLAYER RATINGS

-

BRICE SAMBA:

Can certainly have cause for complaint with the two goals conceded. Didn’t have much to do otherwise. Rating: 6/10

CYRUS CHRISTIE:

Was caught napping for Preston’s equaliser, but was a good outlet going forward in the first half. Has surely done enough to earn a permanent move. Rating: 6/10

JOE WORRALL:

Vocal as ever, as he kept talking to his new defensive partner. Typically solid display from one of Forest’s most consistent performers. Rating: 6/10

LOIC MBE SOH:

A rare appearance – his first since January. No sign of rustiness, though. Looked very composed and comfortable on the ball. Generally defended pretty well. Rating: 6/10

YURI RIBEIRO:

Tried to push forward when he could, but the hosts’ levels dropped off in the second half. Rating: 6/10

JAMES GARNER:

If that is to be his final contribution in a Forest shirt, he certainly signed off in style. An absolute stunner of a strike to cap off what has been a superb loan spell. He’ll go far. Rating: 7/10

RYAN YATES:

Could have doubled his goal tally for the campaign but fired a couple of efforts wide. Put a shift in, though was guilty of a few sloppy passes. Rating: 6/10

FILIP KROVINOVIC:

Some really bright moments, just couldn’t apply the finishing touch when required – including when the Reds attacked 4v1 after the break. Rating: 5/10

ANTHONY KNOCKAERT:

Had his moments, just lacked the little bit of quality to make a difference. Was better in the first half. Rating: 5/10

LEWIS GRABBAN:

A change to his usual role as he was deployed in a deeper position. Did a good job, though, with some neat link-up play. Always looked to get involved. Rating: 6/10

LYLE TAYLOR:

Brighter first half, when he worked well with Grabban. Just couldn’t quite work an opening, though did have an effort ruled out before the break. Rating: 5/10
