PLAYER RATINGS

-

SAM SLOCOMBE:

The normally secure keeper looked out of sorts and had already made a similar error before being punished for a rash charge off his line for Torquay’s opener. 5/10

DION KELLY-EVANS:

Not his day and substituted at half-time. 5/10

RICHARD BRINDLEY:

Not his usual assured self early on but grew into the game. 7/10

CONNELL RAWLINSON: Should have scored with a header on the stroke of half-time and untroubled defensively after the break. 7/10

KYLE CAMERON:

Tried to get Notts on the front foot throughout against his former club. 7/10

ADAM CHICKSEN:

Brought in on the left flank with Joel Taylor recovering from illness and provided the cross for Kyle Wootton’s equaliser. 7/10

ED FRANCIS:

Struggled to make an impact and was substituted at half-time. 5/10

MATT PALMER:

Does a lot of the hard yards in the centre of midfield and was influential in the second-half onslaught. 7/10

CALLUM ROBERTS:

The home fans gave him a hero’s welcome on his return to National League action at Meadow Lane and he was bright throughout without reaching his peak. Booked for protesting at Torquay’s time wasting. 7/10

RUBEN RODRIGUES:

Went close with a couple of headers, one hitting the post, but overall it was a frustrating afternoon for him. 7/10

KYLE WOOTTON:

Yet again he was the target of some rough treatment from opposition defenders but battled hard, got his goal and was responsible for Ali Omar’s dismissal. 8/10
