PLAYER RATINGS

-

BRICE SAMBA:

Did make some decent saves but was beaten at his near post by Tom Lawrence and distribution wasn’t always the best. Rating: 5/10

JORDAN GABRIEL:

A tough first East Midlands derby encounter to come into. Perhaps guilty of trying too hard at times, making some defensive errors. Rating: 6/10

JOE WORRALL:

Didn’t look 100 per cent fit but still a big presence on the pitch, making some crucial blocks and tackles. Rating: 7/10

SCOTT MCKENNA:

Generally a composed figure at the back, even when the heat was on. Comfortable on the ball but, too often, didn’t have many options ahead of him. Rating: 7/10

GAETAN BONG:

A surprise inclusion after the signing of Max Lowe 24 hours earlier. Didn’t do himself any favours to earn another chance when he was caught out for the opener. Provided the assist for the equaliser in an improved second half, though. Rating: 5/10

JAMES GARNER:

Straight back into the thick of the action after re-signing for the club. Some of his passing wasn’t quite up to his usual standards, with perhaps a bit of rustiness. Rating: 6/10

RYAN YATES:

Midfield struggled to get to grips with the Rams in a poor first half when the pressure was relentless. Worked hard to try to stop the tide but it wasn’t easy. Rating: 6/10

PHILIP ZINCKERNAGEL:

Looked bright early on, when the Reds saw a fair bit of the ball. Not too far away with an opener in the first few minutes. Rating: 6/10

JOAO CARVALHO:

Hooked at the break after a first half devoid of inspiration. Rating: 5/10

BRENNAN JOHNSON:

What a time to net your first goal in the Garibaldi. Absolutely thumped the ball home from close range to rescue a point. Rating: 7/10

LYLE TAYLOR:

Could have done better with a couple of chances in the first half one when he was clean through, and a header from Gabriel’s cross. Rating: 5/10
