Gunners at home for Forest in the FA Cup

-

NOTTINGHAM Forest have landed a plum home date against Premier League opposition in the third round of the FA Cup.

Theirs was one of the last two balls to be drawn but they came out first and were handed a home tie against Arsenal.

The Reds faced the Gunners in the third round at the City Ground in 2018 and came out on top 4-2, despite finishing with 10 men, in an unforgettable match but it was a less happy experience for them in the League Cup a year later, when they were beaten 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium.

The third round ties are to be played over the weekend of January 7-10.
