PLAYER RATINGS

-

ANTHONY PATTERSON

Could do very little about Reece Hall-johnson’s opening goal but showed why Sunderland rate him so highly with an unbelievable penalty save. 9

JAYDEN RICHARDSON

Showed tremendous energy levels throughout and provided good width to the attack. Impressive and capped it off with a goal. 9

RICHARD BRINDLEY

Hardly ever puts a foot wrong these days. One of the most dependable performers in the Notts side and doesn’t get the credit he deserves a lot of the time. 8

ALEX LACEY

Returned to the heart of the defence and coasted through the game against a dangerous striker in Paul Mullin. Decent in possession, too. 8

KYLE CAMERON

Has been an incredible signing, as proved by his assist for Kyle Wootton’s second goal. Plays at centre-back but has the feet and quality of a wing-back. Superb. 9

ADAM CHICKSEN

Did brilliantly for the penalty that got Notts back into the game very quickly. Defended his side of the pitch really well and attacked with equal gusto. Great cross for Richardson’s goal. 8

MATT PALMER

Is there a better central midfielder in the National League? Calm, composed, often makes the right decisions and has quality way above the level he is playing at. 9

ED FRANCIS

A rare start and he took his chance with both hands. Couple of passes went astray but demonstrated real class at times. 8

FRANK VINCENT

Full of drive, enthusiasm and a quick brain. Always looked for openings and pressed with intensity too. Did really well in midfield. 8

KAIRO MITCHELL

The striker’s shot led to the penalty as Harry Lennon handballed it deliberately. Was lively throughout and looked to peel in behind. 7

KYLE WOOTTON

There’s just no stopping him this season. Has now reached 15 goals and leads the line so well. It has been a fantastic season for him. In sensational form. 9

SUBSTITUTES

Eli Sam (Mitchell, 45): Should have helped himself to a goal but looked lively when he came on. 7

Subs not used: Sam Slocombe, Callum Roberts, Aaron Nemane.
