■ If you are battling dark circles under your eyes, here’s a powerful pair to try. Huda Beauty’s new #Fauxfilter Luminous Matte Liquid Concealer, £24, is pigmented enough to prevent any peep through. Strivectin, meanwhile, is tackling what lies beneath with Super-c Dark Circle Brightening Eye Serum, £52.
This one takes no prisoners, going after both blue-based discolouration (often caused by thinning skin, stress and tiredness) and brown-based dark circles, which can be down to anything from genetics to overvigorous eye rubbing. In tests, 93% saw brighter under-eyes.
■ The latest
Boots Glow range is a particularly juicy offering. Following on from the Banana and Pineapple
Glow skincare collections, there’s now a Peach edit, with everything costing £4. All three face products feature the fruit extract, known for its hydrating and brightening properties, while the Jelly Moisturiser and Serum both contain niacinamide – 2022’s favourite suits-all skin ingredient.
■ Lancôme’s new seruminfused Le 8 Hypnôse Mascara, £32, has a brush shaped like the figure eight, plus a blend of – yes, you guessed it – eight amino acids to strengthen and volumise your lashes. Lancôme even suggests “activating” the shea butter-enriched formula on first use by pumping the mascara wand eight times...
■ There’s no blending into the crowd with OPI’S bright ‘n’ bold summer polish collection, Power of Hue. Colours include pretty pink Sugar Crush It, Don’t Wait; the lilac Create and the punchy orange Mango For It. As with all OPI collections, they’re available in regular lacquer and long-wearing Infinite Shine (from £14.30 each), and in-salon gel polish.
