PLAYER RATINGS

-

SAM SLOCOMBE

Caught taking slightly too long on the ball on occasions, and his kicking found the side-lines and Forest players more than team-mates. 6/10

KYLE CAMERON

Notts defence looked comfortable when under pressure, but Cameron was pick of the bunch. A real captain’s performance and able to bring his team high up the pitch with his bursts out of defence. 6/10

ADEN BALDWIN

Solid and composed. Passing often split the Forest midfield. Made terrific tackle late on to deny Mighten a goalscoring opportunity. 6/10

RICHARD BRINDLEY

Was eager to help Nemane down the right, but was sometimes caught in position when Forest won the ball back and chose to go long to pacey wide players. 6/10

ADAM CHICKSEN

Linked up well with the forward players, especially Rodrigues. Was comfortable in possession and defended admirably against Mighten, who barely had a kick. 7/10

AARON NEMANE

Tasked with marking the speedy Lareya which he initially struggled with, but grew into the game and frustrated the Forest left-back. 6/10

ED FRANCIS

A solid performance in central midfield, with his delivery from set-pieces the highlight. 6/10

JIM O’BRIEN

A performance you would expect from the veteran midfielder. Calm and composed on the ball and made a couple of important challenges 6/10

RUBEN RODRIGUES

At the heart of everything good Notts produced. Direct, incisive with his passing, and produced excellent assist for Langstaff. No Forest players could get near him. 8/10

SAM AUSTIN

Kept quiet during the first half, but did force Smith into a smart save. Managed to grow into the game during the second period, and took his goal well. 7/10

MACAULAY LANGSTAFF

Worked extremely hard up and tireless running rewarded with a goal. The Magpies number seven could be a huge asset 7/10

SUBSTITUTES GERALDO BAJRAMI

Caused the Forest defence a few problems with his aerial presence and won a number of headers 6/10

CEDWYN SCOTT

Almost made instant impact, only for his effort to be saved by Smith. 6/10
