Government has succeeded in its aims

THIS government singlemindedly set out to increase the wealth of its members without allowing themselves to in any way be distracted by any adverse consequences for the rest of the population, the country or any other country.

They have certainly succeeded very well in this aim. If you are happy with this method to be continued, then vote for either Conservative or Labour, or don’t vote at all.

If you want to see something change in the way the country is run then use your vote and vote for a different party from the two who have miserably failed the country for as long as I can remember.

I wonder what differences there would be if the Government was required to publish its annual accounts and to have these independently audited?

If an employee submitted an expense claim for something that was not incurred solely in the execution of their company duty or not for the benefit of the company, it would be declined.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if all MP expense claims had to be published and if the population considered these to be not incurred in the execution of their duty or for the benefit of the majority of the population, the MP would be required to refund them.

Government salary increases should be tied to be exactly the same percentage increase as the percentage increase in the finances of the poorest 10% of the country that the Government can demonstrate its policies have achieved.

If the poorest 10% are in fact worse off then the MPS’ salary should similarly be decreased by the same percentage.
