THE EX – WORKS, TWO TIME LE MANS VETERAN 1968 ALPINE A220

The earliest of only five stunning 3-litre Alpine A220 still remaining. It has the most extensive in-period competitio­n history and was a Works entry for Le Mans in both 1968 and 1969 with Works drivers including Renault Formula 1 ace Jean-Pierre Jabouille and rally legends Jean Pierre Nicolas and Jean-Luc Thérier. Retained by Alpine until 1978, then sold to former engineer Jean-Pierre Buirette who completed a meticulous 20 year restoratio­n. Presented today in just the second private ownership and remaining highly original.

THE EX – JIM CLARK, GRAHAM HILL, BRUCE HALFORD 1958 LOTUS 16

Displayed by Lotus at the 1958 Earls Court Motor Show and bought from the stand by John Fisher for Bruce Halford. The first Lotus single seater driven by Jim Clark. Winner in its first race, driven by Graham Hill, making it the first single seater victory for both Hill and Lotus. Raced by Bruce Halford throughout the 1959 season including the 1959 Monaco Grand Prix. Sold to Tony Kotze in South Africa and raced by him in the 1960 and ‘61 South African Grand Prix. Repatriate­d to England in 1968 and inspected by Denis Jenkinson in 1988. Bought by the current owner in unrestored condition and since subject of a thorough restoratio­n. 2018 FIA HTPs, 0 hour mechanical­s and a great choice for Monaco.

THE EX – WALTER LEHMANN, RUEDI JAUSLIN, ROSSO BIANCO COLLECTION 1973 LOLA T292 DFV

The only example of a T292 recorded in the Lola sales ledger to be supplied in 3-litre specificat­ion for the Cosworth DFV engine. Raced just twice by first owner Walter Lehmann in 1973 before being bought from Lehmann by Ruedi Jauslin in 1978. Jauslin campaigned HU50 for many years with both Cosworth DFV and Renault V6 engines, before selling to Peter Kaus of the Rosso Bianco Collection in 1984 where it remained until 2006. Sympatheti­cally restored for then owner Lord Irvine Laidlaw in 2007. Then campaigned successful­ly before entering the current ownership in 2010. A multiple time veteran of Le Mans Classic, and race winner in both period and historic racing. Extensivel­y original with an unbroken ownership chain. Eligible for and potential race winner in Peter Auto’s CER 2, Le Mans Classic, Pre-’80 Endurance and more.

THE EX – WORKS RALLY TEAM, LE MANS RESERVE, ‘THE CHAIRMAN’S CAR’ 1956 AUSTIN HEALEY 100/6

The first right hand drive and only the third of any 100/6 built. A demonstrat­or and road test car, TON 792 also became the Chairman of BMC’s personal transport. Requisitio­ned by the Competitio­ns Department to become part of the first works Austin Healey rally team. A works entry to the Coupe des Alpes and Liège-Rome-Liège for Nancy Mitchell in 1958. Sold to privateer John Clarke in 1958 and taken to the 1961 Le Mans 24 Hours, the 1961 Snetterton 3 Hours and the 1962 Tour de France. Winner at the Goodwood Revival and a multiple veteran of the Le Mans Classic. Accompanie­d by 2016 FIA HTPs and extensive history file. One of the most versatile cars you could hope for and a very desirable entry ticket to some of the best events world-wide.
