BAMFORD MAYFAIR MIAMI PACK
Since striking a deal with luxury conglomerate LVMH last year, the Bamford Watch Department has turned its attention to making Bulgari, TAG Heuer and Zenith timepieces look more rock ’n’ roll via many customisation options. The company has also expanded its own timepiece offering with the ‘fun and sporty’ Mayfair, a streamlined 40mm quartz dive watch with a black rubber strap, a matt ceramic bezel and a multiple colour choice for the face. The latest selection of these, dubbed the Miami Pack, is a summer-ready palette of blue, green, neon pink and tangerine for a sunshine theme. £495, bamford.com
OMOLOGATO QUADRIFOGLIO
The lastest release from motorsport-inspired brand Omologato is the Quadrifoglio. Ugo Sivocci famously painted the emblem of the cloverleaf on his Alfa Romeo for the 1923 Targa Florio, which he then won. He died later that year at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, and since his death all racing Alfas have worn the Quadrifoglio emblem in tribute. The new Omologato chronograph wears the emblem on its dial and is limited to just 158 pieces, a nod to the Alfa Romeo Alfetta 158 famously driven by Fangio, Farina and Fagioli for the Alfa Romeo factory Grand Prix team. £329, omologatowatches.com
JAEGER LE COULTRE GEOPHYSIC TOURBILLON
Watchmaking craftsmanship gets no more impressive than this world map timepiece, whose orbital tourbillon completes a rotation every 24 hours. Marrying highly complicated engineering with artistic virtuosity, the watch is a hefty 43.5mm in diameter and 11.24mm thick – big enough to show every nuance of its engraved and lacquered dial whose domed form mimics the appearance of Earth from outer space. There is only one crown, so just one adjustment is needed to read the correct time wherever you are. Only 100 of these ‘Universal Time’ watches have been produced. POA, Jaeger-lecoultre.com
