Five months after they are thought to have begun dating, Beatrice and Edoardo made their romance red carpet official. For their first public appearance as a couple, the pair joined the Duchess of Cambridge and the Beckhams at the National Portrait Gallery’s annual gala.

Edoardo proved he’d been welcomed into the family as he joined Beatrice and her parents at the Bahrain Grand Prix. The family were reportedly the guests of the Crown Prince of Bahrain and stayed at the Ritz Carlton Hotel for the weekend, following Prince Andrew’s week of royal duties in the Middle East.

Although he didn’t join Beatrice at her sister’s wedding the previous October, Edoardo was her date as Lady Gabriella Windsor and Thomas Kingston tied the knot. The couple arrived at St George’s chapel in Windsor alongside Beatrice’s mother, Sarah Ferguson.

Days after attending their first royal wedding together, the love birds were back in London at the Animal Ball Art Show. The couple joined Beatrice’s sister Eugenie, a keen art lover, at the private showing.

The couple showed their support for Beatrice’s father, as they attended his Pitch@palace event at St James’s Palace. The Duke launched the initiative in 2014, to help accelerate the work of young entrepreneurs and Sarah Ferguson was also on hand to help her former husband host.

The pair joined Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank for a double date in Notting Hill. Beatrice and Edoardo reportedly strolled hand in hand, before the foursome settled down for a meal at the then newly launched Gold on Portobello Road.

After enjoying a night out together the previous night at private members’ club Annabel’s, the duo stepped out once again. This time they spent the evening at the Assemblage exhibition curated by Lenny Kravitz and Dom Pérignon.

As her “dearest friend” Ellie Goulding tied the knot, Beatrice and her boyfriend were among guests at York Minster. Eugenie and the sisters’ mother were also in attendance as Ellie and her husband-to-be, Caspar Jopling, said their vows.

After almost a year together, the happy couple announced their engagement with official photographs taken at the Royal Lodge at Windsor Great Park. Eugenie was behind the camera for two of the gorgeous snaps of the pair, who revealed they were looking forward to “the years ahead, full of love and happiness”.

The newly-engaged pair walked the red carpet together at the premiere of Apple TV+ documentary The Elephant Queen. They joined Sir David Attenborough at the event.

The couple celebrated their engagement with a luxurious bash at London’s Chiltern Firehouse. Following an intimate dinner for 20, they reportedly partied the night away with more friends, including James Blunt, Ellie Goulding (below) and Pippa Matthews, as well as Beatrice’s mother and sister.

Cementing his acceptance into the royal family, Edoardo joined his fiancée at Sandringham for the family’s annual Christmas Day service.
