The capital is awash with restaurant festivals this year, but the original is Taste of London, held in Regent’s Park on 14-18 June. With 40 of the city’s best restaurants taking part (each offering taster-sized portions of their best dishes), as well as some of the world’s best chefs, there’s plenty to sink your teeth into. For the first time, this year The Taste Residence will host an intimate four-course fine-dining experience with chefs including Ollie Dabbous and Alex Atala, and in the AEG Taste Theatre you’ll find the likes of Thomasina Miers and Tom Kerridge. There’s also a cookery school, champagne masterclasses from Laurent-Perrier and a Monkey Shoulder Whiskey Den, plus more than 200 artisan exhibitors. Tickets from £17, tasteoflondon.co.uk
