Tequila cosmopolit­an

A hybrid creation that swaps cranberry juice for similarly tart hibiscus tea, and vodka for tequila.

blanco tequila 50ml triple sec or Cointreau 15ml lime juice 15ml, plus a slice to garnish hibiscus tea 25-50ml, cooled

• Shake all of the ingredient­s in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a lime slice.

COOK’S NOTES

You can buy hibiscus tea loose or in bags from health-food shops, large supermarke­ts and online.
