Win VIP fireworks night
WIN VIP family passes to this year’s Charity Fireworks & Family Bonfire in Southport - and the chance to light this year’s bonfire!
The Visiter and Advertiser have teamed up with Southport Hesketh Round Table, ahead of this year’s event on Saturday, November 5.
Three lucky families have the chance to WIN one VIP Family Pass or one of two Standard Family Passes for the Charity Fireworks & Family Bonfire, held in Victoria Park, Southport.
The winner of the first prize will also get the opportunity to start the biggest bonfire in town!
Southport Hesketh Round Table invites children of all ages to draw a colourful picture of the Bonfire & Fireworks event.
Then take a picture and e-mail it over to: visiter news@southportvisiter. co.uk where the winning drawings will be chosen. The annual SHRT fireworks event has raised charitable funds for a range of deserving causes, such as Alder Hey Children’s Charity, Southport Samaritans and Help for Heroes.
The fun-packed evening begins when the gates open at 5pm, with the fairground, live music and other attractions in full swing!
The lighting of the bonfire takes place at 6.30pm, followed by a spectacular firework display at 8pm.
As well as the pyrotechnics, there’s plenty to keep the whole family occupied, from fairground rides and live music to a hearty hog roast, along with food and drink stalls. Gates close at 10pm. Adult tickets are £7, £3 for accompanied under-11s and children under five years old are free.

Advance family tickets will be available online for £15 (two adults and two children).
The proceeds of this year’s event will be donated to local charities.

Southport Hesketh Round Table 1199 reserves the right to amend or refuse entry, and to also cancel the event.
In the event of event cancellation, the prize has no monetary value;
