Big switch-on will have something for everyone
ORMSKIRK Christmas lights will be switched on on Friday November 25 at 6.30pm.
The event will begin at 12pm at the town centre Chapel Gallery marquee and the evening switchon entertainment will begin at 4.30pm.
All ages are welcome at the event and it is completely free to attend.
Live entertainment will be held in the town centre with something to suit every member of the family.
The bustling Christmas marquee will be hosted by the Chapel Gallery with a further two floors of arts and craft stalls available at the gallery itself.
This is the perfect opportunity to purachse special gifts for Christmas while enjoying warm mulled-wine, free creative activities, music, entertainment and even a Christmas grotto.
All the entertainment and Christmas grotto will be open until 8pm on the night. POLICE are looking for three men after the theft of electronic devices from the 02 shop in Ormskirk town centre.
Officers have issued CCTV pictures of men they would like to speak to as they urged Advertiser readers to contact them with any information that can help their investigation.
Three men entered the 02 store in Church Street at 12.11pm on Wednesday October 26.
It is believed that they cut the security wires in order to release the devices.
Among the items stolen were an iPad and four iPhones.
