Our Lights of Love help to brighten up Christmas
OUR Lights of Love Appeal 2016 is now in full swing – and we have been so touched by the dedications and donations made so far.
There is still time to support the appeal as the lights will be switched on this Sunday (December 4) and will continue to sparkle throughout December and January.
Simply donate and make your dedication online at www.queenscourt.org.uk/lights or pick up a leaflet from one of our shops or the hospice reception.
Our Lights of Love services will be taking place on Sunday to coincide with the lights switch-on.
We warmly invite you to join us to celebrate the lives of local loved ones at such a special and emotional time. There will be two services taking place at Christ the King School in Southport and Ormskirk Parish Church, both starting at 4pm.
With carols, live music and readings, our Lights of Love services are an opportunity to remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones.
We know from many years of feedback that people find great comfort in coming together for these uplifting and emotional occasions.
They are free and open to everyone, whatever their faith.
Everyone who attends will be given a mince pie, warm drink and the chance to share memories with others. Thank you! We would like to take this opportunity to thank our Lights of Love Appeal tree sponsors for 2016.
So far, three of the trees have been sponsored by local companies including All White Taxis and EA Formby garden and landscaping services.
There are still trees available to sponsor – a great way for local businesses to get some publicity and support their local hospice.
