Community Link Foundation
AS CHRISTMAS draws closer, the fun continues while raising money for Community Link Foundation.
The Christmas jumper fun has carried on this week and we have been encouraging businesses and organisations across the area to wear their finest festive jumpers in exchange for a donation to Community Link Foundation.
This has helped us raise money that will be distributed back into the community in the form of grants to organisations and individuals who apply to us for funding.
It has also helped us raise awareness of the work that we do and we are grateful to everyone who has taken part and spread the message.
Last week, Woodbank Office Solutions wore Christmas jumpers to their festive lunch.
Dave Duffy, sales director at Woodbank Office Solutions, said: “We wanted to take part in this event to raise money for Community Link and show our support for a great charity.
“We had a lot of fun and raised money at the same time!”
Community Link Foundation is now looking forward to the New Year and being in a position to give out grants to people and groups in the area.
That is only possible with the support of people holding events and fundraising activity for us and we are very grateful to people who are including us in their plans for the year ahead.
Enda Rylands, chairman of Community Link Foundation, said: “2016 has been a successful year for the charity and we have been able to give out grants to some very deserving applicants.
“We are looking forward to some great events in the coming year and are hoping to be able to help even more people and organisations.
“We would like to encourage anyone who is in need of funding to get in touch with us and we will see if we can help.”
Community Link Foundation hopes that all our supporters have a happy Christmas and we wish you all the very best for a very prosperous New Year.
