Start to get yourself fit on World Health Day

IN CELEBRATIO­N of World Health Day tomorrow, Maghull Town Council has joined local organisati­ons to provide a weekend of health conscious events and taster sessions.

Meadows Leisure centre will be discussing membership options and a full programme of events will be taking place on Friday and Saturday, April 7 and 8, at Maghull Town Hall.

Living Well Sefton, Mindfulnes­s Merseyside and Healthwatc­h Sefton will be among the organisati­ons taking part, informing residents of the services available in the community and how they can be supported with improving their health in Maghull.

The town council has joined forces with other businesses in the area to expand the celebratio­ns and diversify the programme to include a wide range of health and wellbeing services.

Maghull Eye Centre in the Square will be offering a free 2D eye scan worth £12 with every eye check-up over April 7-9.

This is a fantastic opportunit­y to check out your eye health.

Maghull Health Studios in Sefton Meadows Industrial Estate will be celebratin­g health and wellbeing with a range of activities for all the community.

Go along to discover all the exercise, wellbeing and children’s classes available, as well as getting a free health check-up including weight, body measuremen­ts and blood pressure checks.

Staff will be giving advice on how to get healthier and improve your wellbeing.

Rawfully Good 4 U will also be there discussing the benefits of a raw food diet and how to eat healthy.
