Award double for top model Livvy
LOCAL model Olivia Karalius, known as Livvy K, has won awards for Commercial Top Model and Most Photogenic.
Livvy was the youngest contestant and has won a trip to Malta and a contract with a top modelling agency.
It took eight months from auditions to catwalk practices to the Top Model UK final, which was held at the London Metropole Hotel.
Among those present at the star-studded event were top industry judges and celebrities from Gogglebox, Big Brother, and the Apprentice to name but a few.
Star guest was Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, who is currently starring in Ghost The Musical in London.
Proud mum Michelle said: “Livvy was been on a high ever since being crowned. Her designers she modelled for are showcasing their collection at London Fashion Week and so she was delighted to be wearing such amazing creations.
“She has met so many industry professionals on her journey who have all given her such positive advice and would like to thanks everyone who has supported her and also Geoff Cox, who was delighted with the judges’ choice.”
The contestants also had to raise money for the chosen charity which for the 10th year is Children with Cancer UK. Livvy raised more than £800 on her own.
Michelle said: “Livvy decided that she wanted to try modelling too as she is already a dancer, actress and singer, and is currently in a girl band.
“She wanted to add another string to her bow, so to speak, and was totally shocked that her first professional catwalk bagged her the winning title. She has had so many supporters and would like to thank them all and to thank everyone from Top Model UK for making her dream come true.
“She has had made so many friends along the way - her Instagram has gone through the roof!
“As her mum I see her drive and determination and I’m so pleased she has finally got the recognition she deserves as she works so hard at everything she achieve.
“Myself, her family and friends are so, so proud of her.
“Here’s hoping for the many opportunities that come her way.” sets out to
