Community Link Foundation

TRUSTEES from Community Link Foundation met last week to consider recent grant applications and were delighted to be able to help some very worthy causes.

The organisations that have been awarded the grants put forward very strong applications as to why they should receive funding from CLF.

They are all deserving recipients who we know will put the money to good use to benefit the community and their service users.

Over the coming weeks, we will reveal more about the organisations that will be receiving the grants and what they are going to be using the money for.

We are so grateful to everyone who supports us in whatever way they can as this enables us to distribute these grants to people who need them.

Without the support of people who fundraise for us, and businesses who kindly chose us as their chosen charity or hold events on our behalf, we wouldn’t be able to help as many people as we do.

So, we would love to hear from anyone who would like to fundraise for Community Link Foundation.

There are many ways to fundraise, from cake sales to summer balls, and we will offer as much support as possible.

Or indeed if you would like to submit a grant application, then please go to www. clfoundation.co.uk to find all the funding criteria.

THIS weekend a Southport woman will be doing some fantastic fundraising for CLF by running the Paris Marathon.

Vicky Simpson, reservations manager at the Ramada Plaza Hotel will pound the streets of Paris to raise money for Community Link Foundation.

After months of training, Vicky will take part in the event this Sunday and would be really grateful of any sponsorship to encourage her over the finish line.

To sponsor Vicky, go to http://uk.virginmoney giving.com/VickySimpson1

We wish Vicky the best of luck!
