Driver flips car onto roof

A SUSPECTED drunk driver flipped his car onto its roof in a dramatic crash in West Lancashire on Tuesday.

Skelmersdale Police and Ormskirk and Burscough Police shared a shocking photo of a Nissan Micra flipped upside down on Whittle Lane, Wrightington.

The post said the driver, a 27-year-old man from Bispham Green, was taken into custody in Skelmserdale and has since been charged and bailed to court.

No one was seriously injured in the crash, but a nearby wall was damaged.
