Vintage fashion show – and afternoon tea!

TAKE a step back in time to an era of splendour and sumptuous tradition with Queenscourt this summer.

We are delighted to invite you to our vintage fashion show and afternoon tea event, taking place on Friday, July 7, in a beautiful marquee in the grounds of Formby Cricket Club.

It will be a relaxed and informal setting, but if you wish to dress for the occasion then you are, of course, more than welcome.

This will be an opportunity to view exquisite outfits modelled from Mary Jones Vintage and Glamour, compared by the fabulously knowledgeable owner Julia Jones.

Mary Jones Vintage and Glamour is a local gem based in Ainsdale Village, with a reputation for high-end true vintage clothes and accessories, all hand-picked and of excellent quality.

From beautifully beaded 1920s smocks to 1950s original tea dresses, they offer an ever-changing collection that will be sure to impress.

As a beautiful outfit deserves the best, the fashion show will also be accompanied by the lovely ladies from Clarins, within Southport’s Debenhams, who will be showcasing their wonderful range of skincare, make-up and fragrances for you.

To complete your afternoon of finery, there will be a raffle to win some great prizes and we will be serving the delicious tradition of afternoon tea.

You will be treated to a scrumptious selection of sandwiches and homemade scones and cakes, accompanied by some lovely acoustic music.

So, let us spoil you this summer, all in the knowledge that the proceeds raised will help Queenscourt to provide comfort, reassurance and specialist care to families in our local community.
