Concerns raised for missing woman
PEOPLE are being urged to help find a 69-year-old woman who left her home in Skelmersdale last week – and hasn’t been seen since.
Lancashire Police have now released this picture of Doreen Roughley and are urging anyone who has seen her to contact them urgently.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for the wellbeing of a woman who has been missing for several days.
“Doreen Roughley, 69, from Skelmersdale, was last seen at around 6.35am on Friday, April 28, leaving her address at Beechwood Court, but hasn’t returned.”
Sgt Bernie Coburn, from Skelmersdale Police, added: “No one has seen or heard from Doreen since this last sighting and so we are getting more worried for her welfare.
“She is in receipt of regular medication which we know she doesn’t have in her possession, and so she could appear to be agitated.
“We need to find her and so I am asking anyone who might have seen her, or knows where she is, to call us immediately.”
Doreen is described as white, of slim build with mousey brown shoulderlength hair.
She was last seen wearing a beige mac which was too big, flowery leggings, a burgundy shoulder bag and a white trainer on her right foot and a slipper on her left foot.
Anyone with information can call police on 101, quoting log number LC-20170428-0752.
