Man ‘exposed himself’ to girls in street
AMAN exposed himself in front of two schoolgirls in broad daylight in Ormskirk, according to reports made to Lancashire police.
Officers are looking into the alleged incidents involving girls, aged about 10 and 11, on a Wednesday afternoon in February.
They have now released images of a man they wish to speak to as part of their investigation.
The police believe the man pictured may be able to assist with the inquiry.
Officers are investigating claims that on February 22, at 3.49pm, a man exposed himself to a girl on Burscough Street while trying to attract her attention.
He is then thought to have walked past another girl while still exposing himself.
The second alleged victim attracted the attention of passers-by, at which point the man was reportedly seen “zipping his trousers back up” before walking down Scarisbrick Street.
It is believed that he had arrived in Ormskirk on a train from Liverpool shortly before the incident.
He is described as white, in his 40s, approximately 5ft 10in, and had short, dark hair.
At the time of the alleged incidents, he was wearing a black, threequarter length coat with collar, black trousers and shoes and carrying a black laptop shoulder bag.
Officers believe the man pictured may have information that could be important to the investigation, and are appealing for him, or anyone who knows who he might be, to contact them.
