Plea: don’t suffer after service life

-

PEOPLE in Lancashire who served in the armed forces can receive support from Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust’s Military Veterans’ Service.

The transition from veteran to civilian life can be difficult and often those who have served in the armed forces can struggle in seeking the support they need.

The Military Veterans’ Service wants to remind people of the support available for anyone experiencing mental health problems or difficulties adjusting back to normal life.

Joe Crocock, military veterans service manager at Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust said: “Adapting to the change in lifestyle when leaving the armed forces can be extremely hard and no one should suffer alone.’’

The Military Veterans’ Service is a partnership between Lancashire Care and Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust.
