MG owners back Age UK

FOLLOWING their St George’s Day run into North Wales, West Lancs MG Owners Club had great pleasure at their monthly meeting of presenting member Ray Travies a cheque for £165.

Club members had generously donated on the day – with amounts even coming in from some members who were unable to take part in the run.

As Ray had organised the event, he was asked which charity he would like to donate it to and he nominated Age UK.

The club meets at Briars Hall in Lathom at 8pm every third Thursday of the month.

It has all kinds of activities on offer from car shows, social days/nights out, tenpin bowling and very many others throughout the year.
