WORLD renowned hairdresser James Earnshaw, creative director at The Francesco Group Academy, Cloud 9 Style ambassador and British Hairdressing Awards finalist, recently attended West Lancashire College to showcase a professional seminar.
Hairdressers, industry professionals and hairstyling enthusiasts attended the evening to witness a collection of James Earnshaw’s unique hairstyles and creations.
James gave an inspirational talk to students studying Hair, Beauty and Makeup courses.
He said: “It’s important for anyone starting out in hairdressing to keep learning and stay creative.
“Have fun with your styling and come up with new ideas.”
The college’s salon manager, Leigh Cutter, said: “I’m so happy that James Earnshaw and the Francesco team came to visit West Lancashire College, it really makes our Francesco salon feel part of a huge division in the hairdressing sector.
“His masterclass was incredible and really informative.”
The evening was spent in the college’s onsite theatre where James displayed his talents in front of a large audience with styles such as hanger curls, hair ups, pastel colours and tight curls.
He said: “There are amazing facilities here at West Lancashire College, the staff and the salons are industry standard and if you’re wanting to start a career then this is as close to the professional industry as you could possibly get.”
