There could be a way of getting there sooner than you think – while helping a good cause at the same time!
Community Link Foundation (CLF) could have the solution.
CLF is a local charity that assists people who need financial support.
They support people and organisations within the community such as sports teams who are in need of updated equipment, groups who need funding for materials or individuals who need financial support towards medical treatment.
CLF holds a monthly lottery called the 600 Club and every month one person wins £1,000.
An additional five people win £100 each month.
Winning £1,000 could give your savings a boost while helping to raise funds that they can give to good causes in Southport, Ormskirk, Formby and the surrounding areas.
It costs just £5 per month and only 600 people are allowed in the club, so the odds of winning are pretty high!
The money raised through the 600 Club is then used to go towards the grants that are given out across the area.
As well as looking for people to join the 600 Club, CLF would also love to hear from anyone who would like to help with fundraising.
Recently, they have been able to give out some grants to help some amazing local organisations, and this has only been possible thanks to the generosity of people and businesses from across the area.
