Pick purple or go green for one day only
GET ready to make a positive difference on Friday, October 13 with Go Purple and Green! We’d love to see our whole community joining together, flying Queenscourt’s colours, all in support of our local hospice.
For one day, don your purple T-shirt, pull up your green socks, maybe a swish of purple eyeshadow or even top it off with a green wig.
Round up your colleagues, especially the boss!
Get your classmates involved, which class can raise the most?
Or simply gather your friends for a bit of fun!
If everyone embraces Queenscourt’s colours for just a small donation each, we can make a great big difference together.
Let your creativity flow with ways to raise even more on the day… show off your baking prowess with purple and green cakes for people to donate to enjoy, or even set up a nail bar for fabulous colour co-ordinating nails!
However you join in, every single penny raised will help Queenscourt to give a special kind of care to patients and families in Southport, Formby and West Lancashire. For instance: £10 – could go towards our library of children’s books to help families deal with loss and grief.
£25 – could fund creative therapy, so patients can enjoy making special gifts and memories for family and friends.
£125 – could cover a nurse’s shift on our inpatient unit to help relieve a patient’s pain and symptoms.
Go Purple and Green is all about joining in and being a part of something special; bringing comfort, reassurance and a better quality of life to local people and their loved ones.
