THERE are still tickets available for Community Link Foundation’s next event but be quick – it’s going to be a really cushty night!
The event is an Only Fools and Horses themed night of comedy capers and music and it is being held at Southport Rugby Club on Friday, October 13.
It forms part of the annual Southport Comedy Festival so there are plenty of laughs guaranteed.
Called ‘Only Fools and Three Courses’, the event is being held in the Grand Marquee at the Waterloo Road club, and guests will enjoy a three course dinner during the evening of fundraising which will raise money for Community Link Foundation.
The event, which has been planned by trustees of CLF, will raise money for the charity which can then be used to support individuals and organisations in Southport and the surrounding areas.
The plans for the evening are quite unique as it is conducted in an Only Fools and Horses style so guests can expect a fun night out served up by brilliant comedy actors.
Once the meal is over and the Only Fools and Horses actors have entertained you, The deadBeats Band, a five piece party band, will get the audience on their feet before the evening is finished off with a disco.
Enda Rylands, chairman of Community Link Foundation, said: “We would love to hear from anyone who would like to buy tickets for this event as we know that it is going to be a great night.
“We hope it will be successful in raising lots of money that can be distributed to people and organisations in the local community.”
