Family fun at opening match

-

ORMSKIRK Rugby Union Club is inviting all families in the local community along as the club hosts its first home game of the season this weekend.

The event this Saturday (September 16) starts at 1.30pm.

An Ormskirk RUFC spokesman said: “From 1.30pm you’ll find a Minions bouncy castle with slides and a super hero bouncy castle for all the kids and overgrown 40-year-old kids!

“Also we may have some local superheroes and Disney princesses popping by to say hello and give all the kiddies a chance to have their picture taken!

“From 2pm you’ll be able to buy some fabulous cakes with all monies raised going to the terrific Raise for Russ charity.

“At 3pm the big event of the day is the 1st XV taking on North Manchester at 3pm.

“A barbecue free to all Ormskirk fans will be available from half time onwards – but be quick.

“Post kick-off, at around 4.30pm, we’ll be joined by three fabulous local acts as they look to entertain us into the evening with their vocal talents. They’ll be performing live in the bar which is open all day – but remember, cash only.’’
