Hundreds raised at gin night

THE owners of Infusions Bistro in Burscough were delighted to raise £280 for The Alzheimer’s Society as they hosted their charity gin evening on Friday, September 1.

Customers joined Damien Bond from Birkdale Craft Distillery to taste five bespoke gin blends and mark them on aspects such as intensity, balance and flavour.

The evening culminated with the favourite drink being announced as Infusions Gin.

Craig Walsh, owner of the Orrell Lane bistro, said: “Customers had a fantastic evening, enjoying both the gins and the fabulous food platters included with the ticket.

“As well as having an enjoyable evening, a fantastic £280 was raised for the Alzheimer’s Society.”
