Whole lotta Loretta girls arena bound!

SIXTEEN talented children from across the area who attend Loretta Legge Theatre School in Maghull have been chosen to appear in this year’s prestigiou­s Pantomime Aladdin at the Liverpool ECHO Arena.

The chosen dancers are: Lexie Bolster, Freya Milligan, Louisa Mawdsley, Lucy Whittingsl­ow, Amy Ward, Tallulah Ellis-Brennan, Isabella Blain, Maddison Hunt, Isla Boyle, Ruby Wishart, Alexia Tierney, Daisy Boyle, Imogen Johnson, Lucy Crellin, Carla Kelly and Cerise Danson.

The 16 young dancers aged from seven to 12 years old have auditioned and been chosen by Shone Production­s Limited to appear in this year’s glamorous pantomime Aladdin at the ECHO Arena in Liverpool.

This is the second year students from Loretta Legge Theatre school have been chosen for pantomime at the ECHO Arena and the theatre school are ecstatic to be back!

The principal of the school, Loretta Legge, has extensive experience as a profession­al dancer/choreograp­her and director working alongside some of the country’s best-loved celebritie­s.

Her co-principal and daughter Rebecca Urszuly, who is also no stranger to the spotlight, has had an extensive profession­al career as a dancer, singer and actress.

Together they continue to teach the performing arts to children and adults in all facilities of dance, singing, drama and musical theatre.

With over 40 years of teaching experience The Loretta Legge Theatre school has a 100% examinatio­n pass rate in all theatre and drama subjects and excels in students winning awards for competitio­ns across the North West.

They are proud to have produced talented artists who have gone on to star in the West End in musicals such as Fame, Blood Brothers, Cats, Boogie Nights and The Lion King to name a few.

Now these new and excited 16 young female dancers will appear alongside names such as Dean Sullivan (Brookside’s, Jimmy Corkhill), Leanne Campbell from Radio City and Michael Auger from Collabro, winners of Britain’s Got Talent.

Principals Loretta Legge and Rebecca Urszuly are very proud of the children and hope it makes their Christmas extra special.
