Help us: dedicate a light to a loved one
EVERY year we invite local supporters to donate and dedicate a light to someone.
This winter appeal is such an important part of our fundraising calendar as not only is it a special way to celebrate life and raise vital funds, but the lights in the trees also bring some magic and sparkle to the hospice gardens.
Your light will shine in the hospice trees throughout December and January.
Your message as you write it on the form, or donations page online, will also feature in our Lights of Love book of dedications.
Plus every penny raised will help us give free support to local patients and their families when they need it most.
All those who kindly support the appeal will be sent a free Lights of Love Appeal badge to wear with pride during the appeal and show that you are supporting your local hospice.
You can also get a badge for a suggested donation of £1 from the hospice reception.
To donate and dedicate a light simply pick up a leaflet and fill in the form or visit www.queenscourt.org.uk/lights.
Leaflets are available in all of the Queenscourt charity shops, the hospice welcome desk and at Boxtree Kitchen for Queenscourt café in Churchtown.
Your donations will change lives Every penny you donate to this appeal will help give comfort, reassurance and a better quality of life to local patients.
£25 could go towards a complementary therapy session for a patient to help relieve stress and anxiety.
