Recycle a tree – help lifeboat out as well

-

WE’D like to welcome this brand new year by saying a big thank-you to all of our supporters – we think you’re all amazing!

We’ve been reflecting on all the wonderful ways our local community comes together to support Queenscourt Hospice and we’re grateful to each and every one of you.

Your donations of time and money ensure we can keep giving our special kind of care to local families when they need it most.

Although we’re only a few days in, our first fundraiser of 2018 is already in full swing… our Christmas Tree Collection and Recycling Service.

If you have a real Christmas tree then it’s the perfect way to start your year: supporting your local hospice as well as a simple solution for Twelfth Night.

On January 13-14 we will be collecting trees from postcodes PR8, PR9, L37, L39 & L40.

So if you live in these areas please don’t hesitate, register your tree today.

Simply visit www.charity xmastreecollection.com and enter a few details with a donation.

Then all you have to do is put it outside your home/ business by January 12, lovely and easy.

Registration will close on January 10, for us to organise our routes.

We have a wonderful team of volunteers all ready to collect your tree, kindly offering their time and energy to help make this service a success.

These include lovely local companies; EA Formby NW Ltd, A1 Gardening, Pro Tree Professional Arborists, Mook Gardens and Paul Crabtree & Sons. A huge thank you to all of them.

We’re also delighted to have Southport Offshore Rescue Trust (Southport Lifeboat) as our local charity partner on this venture, so your support will benefit the invaluable work of two local charities.

Good for the environment and great for our community… every donation will make a difference.

If you have any queries contact Lucy Smith on 01704 517420 or fund raising@queenscourt.org.
