COMMUNITY Link Foundation is always on the lookout for new ways to fundraise and would love to hear from people who can help!
The charity which covers Southport, Formby, Ormskirk, Burscough, Hesketh Bank, Rufford, Banks and the areas in between, gave out more than £50,000 in grants to people and organisations across the area in 2017.
CLF gets a lot of support from businesses and individuals who know of the good work that they do, but they would love that to increase so they are able to help even more people.
The easiest way to support them is to join the 600 Club which is a monthly lottery that they run.
It costs just £5 a month which is payable by direct debit or standing order.
Every month a draw is held to pick the winner of the £1,000 prize.
A further five numbers are drawn and each of the people whose numbers match win £100.
Only 600 people are allowed to join the club and if they get more than 600 members then they will start another club.
This means that the odds of winning are always pretty high.
Past winners have been able to put the money towards family parties, shopping sprees, home improvements and much more.
It would be a great boost if you are just starting to plan a summer holiday.
By being a member of the 600 Club you will be helping Community Link Foundation to raise money that can then be used to help people and organisations in the local area who have applied for funding.
Grants are awarded to applicants who are experiencing ill health, disability, poverty and other disadvantages.
As well as looking for people to join the 600 Club, we would also love to hear from anyone who would like to help us by holding a fundraising event.
