Arson attack at pub
AN APPEAL has been launched after a fire started ‘deliberately’ at a disused outbuilding at the rear of a West Lancashire pub.
The incident involved setting fire to a portable building at the back of The Horseshoe Inn on Liverpool Road, in Skelmersdale – a blaze which is believed to have been started deliberately.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene at 7:56pm on Wednesday, March 14.
Two fire crews from Skelmersdale attended and wore breathing apparatus when extinguishing the fire, and fortunately no-one was injured.
