House hit by blaze in attic
FIRE crews were called out after the attic of a terraced house in Up Holland caught fire.
The fire broke out on Friday, March 23 in Church Street at about 9.24pm.
One fire engine and crew from Skelmersdale and one from Wigan responded to the fire.
Upon arrival, the firefighters were equipped with breathing apparatus and they used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire.
They then used a fan unit to clear smoke from the property.
No one was injured in the incident.
