Fun for the family at Chapel Gallery
THERE is still plenty of holiday fun for the family at the Chapel Gallery Ormskirk and The Tree House in Skelmersdale. At the Chapel Gallery, until April 7, there will be a wide range of free Easter-themed creative activities.
There will also be a programme of professional-led sessions for families and children.
Today, Thursday, April 5, children aged eight and over can celebrate the arrival of spring by making leafy clay sculptures of the fabled Green Man at the Green Man Sculptures event with Sarah Jane Richards.
Sessions cost £4 per child per session and take place between 10am-midday and 1pm3pm.
Children do not need a parent or other adult with them to attend.
There will be a free Easter Egg Hunt every day at the Chapel Gallery until Friday, April 6.
Find all the eggs and claim a prize.
Tomorrow, there will be free Easter themed craft activities at the Tree House in Sandy Lane, 11am-3pm. Call 07860 617353 to book a place.
John Harrison, director of development and regeneration, said: “Children can have fantastic fun at these exciting Easter events.
“Parents should book the places quickly so they don’t miss out.”
