Lego creations are best show on the block
FILM fans and children of all ages are in for a treat at the Brick Flicks exhibition at the Chapel Gallery.
From The Matrix to Mary Poppins, and Laurel and Hardy to The Life Of Pi, Brick Flicks is an exhibition of posters showing some of the most iconic and memorable film moments of all time in a way you will never have seen them before.
Recreated by Lego bricks artist Warren Elsmore, each familiar scene has been carefully photographed to mimic the staging and lighting of the original movie.
But the scenery, actors and actresses are recreated with everyone’s favourite building blocks.
How many will you recognise without reading the captions?
Brick Flicks is an exhibition for all the family and runs until Saturday, July 7.
And if you feel inspired by the Brick Flicks display, you can exhibit your own work at Chapel Gallery.
All kinds of creations can be submitted for this competition, including those built from kits with instructions. But for a chance to win a £100 prize, use your imagination to build your own weird and wonderful brick creation.

The deadline for emailed submissions for the brick creations com- petition is Monday, May 21, for delivery Saturday, May 26 and exhibition from Tuesday, May 29 until the end of the show.
