Right Royle evening of comedy at village pub
PHOENIX Nights star Steve Royle will headline a comedy night at The Cock & Bottle pub in Church Road, Tarleton, on Tuesday, May 8.
Presented by The Hop & Tickle Comedy Co, and hosted by MC Lewis “Big Liu” Jones, the event will also feature comedians Dan Nightingale and Marvyn Dickinson.
Demand for Steve Royle’s stand-up work is high and whether it’s headlining shows around the world or as support for Peter Kay or Steve Coogan, his act is always brilliantly funny.
Dan Nightingale is widely regarded as one of the best performers working on the comedy circuit today. Mixing fiendishly accurate observation with energetic characterisations and killer punchlines, his comedy is original, playful, intelligent, poignant and exciting.
Both the star of BBC’s Bafta nominated DNN & Nando’s New Comedian Of The Year 2014, Marvyn Dickinson has that indefinable x-factor some comics have and some don’t, and the result is one very warm and incredibly funny act.
Tickets are available at The Cock & Bottle and include a Hop & Tickle Supper for £15 per person.
